Baldacci's first novel, "Absolute Power," earned a great deal of recognition with a major motion picture adaptation that followed, with Clint Eastwood as director and star.

In total, Baldacci has published 27 novels, all of which have been national and international best-sellers; several have been adapted for film and television. His novels have been translated into more than 45 languages and sold in more than 80 countries, and more than 110 million copies are in print worldwide.

In addition to attending the event, the library requests patrons to contribute to Baldacci's favorite charity, Feeding the Body and Mind. The program collects new and gently used books and distributes them alongside emergency food assistance through the nation's food banks network. There will be a Feeding the Body and Mind donation box at the library.

Free tickets will only be available at the Information Desk at the library. There is a two-ticket limit per person.
