Annual Used Book Sale Begins In Chappaqua With Donation Days

CHAPPAQUA, N.Y. –  The Friends of the Chappaqua Library is holding its annual used book sale in the Chappaqua Public Library this week, with “donation days” kicking off the tradition on Monday and Tuesday.

“Sale days” will begin Wednesday night from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. before the following weekend sale schedule:

  • June 6: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • June 7: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • June 8: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • June 9: 1 p.m to 3 p.m.

All books are half-priced on Saturday and all remaining books are free on Sunday.

 

For those interested in donating books, you are encouraged to sort them by category before brining them to the sale. If you’re interested in volunteering at the sale, call the reference desk at 914-238-4779 or email chafriends@westchesterlibraries.org.
