"American Idol" Alum Will Headline Grace Baptist Church's Fall Festival

Additionally, members of the Grace Baptist Church choir, along with other local musicians, will open at 6:30 p.m. for the singer who last year switched to the Christian contemporary genre with the launch of his third full-length studio album "Only a Mountain" since being voted off "American Idol" in 2008.

With no other fall festival scheduled in Chappaqua over the Columbus Day Holiday, the members of Grace Baptist Church felt the time was right to host a local event to celebrate the season while offering the community an opportunity to meet their Westchester neighbors in an afternoon and evening of food, fun, games and uplifting music.

The fun and games portion of the free event runs from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. and is complete with bounce castles, games, prizes and a clown for kids of all ages.

“Fall is about families getting out and enjoying all the Hudson Valley offers before winter descends upon us,” said Pastor Larry Holland, Grace Baptist Church. “We want everyone to come out and experience all the fun and festivities. We believe this festival offers something that families can enjoy together.
