Where To Find Cheapest Gas For Memorial Day Weekend In Chappaqua

CHAPPAQUA, N.Y. – With the summer driving season finally before us, motorists in Chappaqua, Armonk, Bedford and Mount Kisco getting ready for their busy Memorial Day weekend may notice that prices at the pump are on the rise.

According to AAA, drivers in New York were paying an average of $3.76 per regular gallon, among the most in the country. Nationally, prices are sitting at an average of $3.66 per gallon, up 15 cent from a month ago, but down two cents from one year prior.

Robert Sinclair, the spokesperson for AAA New York predicted that this spike would have happened earlier. Refineries switched to the more expensive, eco-friendly summer blend of gasoline back in March.

“We expected that it would happen earlier, but we knew that prices would jump as we approached the summer season,” he said. “Things are going to get very hair during the driving season.”

Locally, according to GasBuddy.com, the cheapest regular gas in Chappaqua, Armonk, Bedford and Mount Kisco can be found at Mount Kisco’s Mobil station on 680 East Main Street and Chappaqua’s Shell station at 114 South Greeley Avenue, where regular gas is going for $3.99 per gallon, while premium will cost you $4.19 per gallon.
