The agreement allows testing for herbal supplements that is more stringent than Food and Drug Administration standards, according to CBS.

GNC and New York State came to the agreement after Schneiderman's office sent word to GNC, Target, Walgreens and Walmart that the retailers were allegedly selling herbal supplement products that either lacked the advertised supplement or contained other ingredients, CBS said.
