Pop-ups are visiting merchants who operate in a space temporarily.

The first pop-up for the Mount Kisco eatery was Mrs. Larkins, which sells scones.

"People were coming far and wide just to be able to enjoy her scones with a cup of coffee or tea and chat with her on a different venue," Albanese said.

The second merchant was NOEMA Sweets. Albenese said "NOEMA" stands for None of the Eight Major Allergens.

She also noted NOEMA "did fairly well with the people that just frequent my shop or had heard about it through social media or other allergy sites."

The third and final pop-up was Cathy's Biscotti, which includes gluten-free offerings.

Albanese wrote she still has some items from the each one of the pop-ups.

"I have scones and crispy chocolate chip cookies that I've been making Frowich's with from Mrs. Larkins; I have a selection of chocolate bars and chocolate lollis from NOEMA; and I have regular and gluten-free biscotti from Cathy's."

Albanese remains interested in having pop-up vendors and adds that those who are interested can e-mail her at frannie@franniesgoodieshop.com.
