CHAPPAQUA, N.Y. – Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton of Chappaqua spoke out against high chief executive officer salaries and tax breaks for hedge fund managers at her first official campaign appearance on Tuesday, according to Bloomberg.
Clinton, former first lady and secretary of state, spent about an hour discussing inequalities in the economy with students and faculty members at Kirkwood Community College in Iowa, Bloomberg Politics reported.
Some local high school students also attended the forum and had the opportunity to share their own views with the Democratic presidential hopeful, according to Bloomberg Politics.
