CHAPPAQUA, N.Y. -- The Chappaqua-Millwood Chamber of Commerce presents a talk called "Overcoming Obstacles in Your Business...and How to Turn those Lemons into Lemonade!"
It will be Thursday. Feb. 4 from 7:15-9 p.m. at Crabtree Kittle House, 11 Kittle Road, Chappaqua.
Cost is $25 for members; $35 for non-members.
Jim McHale, president of JP McHale Pest Management, will discuss the impact and influence of buzz on the Facebook mom's pages and his successful management and response to negative comments.
Michael Competiello, owner, A&S Millwood, will discuss how the closing of A&P has affected business in Millwood, and how he has successfully maintained his customer base despite the closing of A&P and other factors.
Victoria Alzapiedi, a Harvard-trained organizational leadership strategist, will discuss the importance of criticism and how to not take criticism to heart or personally, but instead to benefit from it professionally and in a business.
