Chappaqua Business Moves Into Fairfield, Supports Newtown Charity

FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Booked Parties, a company that aids parents planning their children’s birthday parties, is expanding into Fairfield County and working to support the Newtown-Sandy Hook Community Foundation Inc., according to The Examiner.

The company, which was started last year by Chappaqua’s Claire Gilvar, supports local organizations helping children whenever it moves into a new area, according to The Examiner.

That the company was able to support a foundation that works to meet the needs of families affected by the Sandy Hook Elementary School shootings in 2012 seemed fitting, company officials told The Examiner.

“There’s so much that needs to be done,” Meryl Lefkowitz, director of marketing and development for Booked Parties, told The Examiner.
